The Big Question..
One to One Tuition... or Group Lessons?
Investing in tuition is a big decision, and it can be difficult to choose between one to one and group lessons.
Both have their advantages.
This is why I offer both One to One and Group Tuition.
Many of my students come to me after a disappointing test result, feeling worried about moving down a set, or simply not quite keeping up in class.
In these cases, One-to-One sessions are invaluable—they allow me to quickly identify and address any gaps, helping students make rapid progress in both their Maths Test Scores and their confidence.
Once those key foundations are in place, many students move onto my small group sessions.
By this stage, they already know me, I know them, and they feel ready to thrive in a collaborative setting—while parents benefit from a more cost-effective option.
This approach ensures students get the best of both worlds: individual support when they need it and group learning when they’re ready.

Investing in tuition is a big decision, especially with the rising costs of school fees, activities, and everything else at the moment! One of the biggest questions parents face is whether to choose One-to-One Tuition or Group Classes. Both have their advantages, and that’s why I offer a carefully designed hybrid approach. Class Schedule
GCSE Year 10 Foundation
The goal is not just to help students reach their target grade, but to give them the confidence and strategies to exceed it. I have high aspirations for every student, and I believe that very often, the barrier to success is not ability, but missing key facts or techniques that, once learned, unlock a whole range of questions.

I take a strategic and highly targeted approach, identifying exactly where the gaps are and addressing them head-on. I actively support their retention through low-stakes quizzes and regular practice.

This class is ideal for students sitting the Foundation paper, as well as high-achieving Year 8 students looking for an extra challenge to get ahead of the game.
Mondays and Tuesdays, 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
GCSE Higher (Year 10)
In Year 10, I place a strong focus on building a solid foundation in Algebra, as it forms the backbone of GCSE Maths and typically makes up around 30% of the exam paper.
By mastering key algebraic skills early on, students gain the confidence and problem-solving ability needed to tackle more complex topics later in the course.
Monday and Tuesdays, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
GCSE Higher (Year 11)
In Year 11, my focus shifts to the most challenging questions—the final 5-6 questions on the exam papers—which are worth the most marks and often determine top grades.
Every two to three weeks, we tackle a Grade 9 topic, sometimes even covering content ahead of the school syllabus. This approach helps students build confidence with harder concepts, master high-level exam questions, and refine their exam technique and revision strategy.
Sundays and Wednesdays, 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM
